How We Hold Your
Data With Care

LimbicForge treats your attention and information with the same care we bring to every brand we work with.

Privacy & Data Protection Notice · Last updated: November 2025

We collect only what you choose to share. We store nothing unnecessary. We never use your data for advertising, profiling, or tracking.

Your words stay private. Your consent always leads. This is not a compliance checkbox. It is the way we believe data should be treated.

01

Who We Are

LimbicForge is a neuroscience-grounded brand consultancy based in the UK and EU. We offer content, services, and educational resources related to ethical neuro-branding, Consent-Based Attention™, and the NeuroCulture Model™.

This Privacy Notice explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal data in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

Data controller: LimbicForge. Contact: hello@limbicforge.co.uk

02

What We Collect and Why

We collect only what you actively choose to share with us. We do not harvest, infer, or extract information from your behaviour without your knowledge.

When you contact us through our enquiry form, we receive your name, email address, and the message you write. This is used solely to respond to your enquiry. Nothing more.

If you subscribe to The LimbicForge Journal, we receive your email address so we can send you new editions. You can unsubscribe at any time, without friction.

We do not collect sensitive personal data, financial information, or data related to protected characteristics.

03

What We Do Not Do

We do not run Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any behavioural tracking tools. We do not build profiles of our visitors. We do not sell, share, or rent your data to third parties. We do not use your information for advertising of any kind.

We will never use your data to pressure you, re-target you, or manipulate your decision-making. This is not a policy position. It is a founding principle.

04

How We Store Your Data

Contact enquiry data is held securely within our website infrastructure and email systems. We retain your enquiry for as long as it takes to complete our response, and no longer than necessary for our legitimate operational records.

Journal subscriber data is held within our email platform, in compliance with UK GDPR. You may request deletion at any time.

We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data from unauthorised access, alteration, or loss.

05

Legal Basis for Processing

We process your contact enquiry data on the basis of legitimate interests, specifically, to respond to the message you sent us.

We process journal subscription data on the basis of consent. You opted in. You can opt out at any time, and that will be the end of it.

We do not rely on vague or implied consent. Every processing activity has a clear, proportionate reason.

06

Your Rights Under UK GDPR

You have the right to access the data we hold about you, to have it corrected if inaccurate, and to request its erasure (also known as the right to be forgotten). You may also request that we restrict or pause our processing, or ask us to receive your data in a portable format.

You have the right to object to any processing we carry out on the basis of legitimate interests.

To exercise any of these rights, write to us at hello@limbicforge.co.uk. We will respond within 30 days. No bureaucracy. No runaround.

If you believe your rights have not been respected, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.

07

Cookies and Tracking

We use cookies sparingly and only where necessary. Essential site functionality requires a small number of technical cookies. We do not use advertising cookies, remarketing pixels, or cross-site tracking of any kind.

For a full explanation of the cookies this site may use and how to control them, please read our Cookie Policy.

08

Third-Party Links

Our website may link to external platforms such as LinkedIn. Once you leave our site, their privacy policies apply, not ours. We have no control over how those platforms use your data.

We try to link only to platforms whose practices align with our values, but we cannot make guarantees on their behalf.

09

Changes to This Notice

We may update this Privacy Notice when our practices change, when the law changes, or when we find a clearer way to explain something. The date below will always reflect the most recent version.

We will not make material changes silently. If something significant shifts, we will note it clearly.

10
